The 1st Stirlingshire Scout Group is amongst the oldest Scout Groups in Scotland, and indeed in the UK. They were formed in 1908, the year after Scouts began, following the publication of Scouting for Boys by Lord Robert Baden-Powell, hero of Mafeking.
Although the Group has a long history, each of our sections have up-to-date programmes suitable for the modern young person. Scoutong has kept pace with the needs of each new generation without losing that most essential of elements - excitement and adventure.
